Diana Ecker is a filmmaker, video artist and co-founder of Studio Esmé.
She is currently co-directing and producing 'Free School' (working title), a feature length documentary that tells the story of Brooklyn Free School, a highly diverse K-12 democratic free school, in the year that Donald Trump became President of the United States.
Other recent work includes Indoor Life, a short film collaboration with playwright Hayes Borkowski, and Heartfoot, a stop-motion animation with characters designed by miniature artist Mackenzie McAlpin.
Raised in Ohio and Connecticut, she currently lives in New York City.
